Pamela Dolton is an independent photographer, based in East Sussex. She is experienced with a variety of photographic approaches and currently focuses on portraiture, weddings, and events.
Pamela studied a BA Hons degree in Media Writing, at Southampton Solent University, receiving a 2.1 upon completion. For her dissertation she studied Photojournalism within the fashion sector, for which she received first class honors. Her work has been published in local press, The Argus newspaper and Brighton Visitor magazine. She has worked with photographic companies Venture Portrait Photographers and equestrian portrait specialists, Ponytales. She has freelanced at South Down Studio in Brighton, with fellow photographer Jon Silver. Examples of her work for these companies can be found in her portfolio. She has also worked with and been inspired by photographer James DiBiase, and photojournalist Karin Stowe.
Pamela now splits her time between working independently on PD Photography, and as a secondary school teaching assistant.
