My intention is to always insure what I bring to your Wedding is not only experience and knowledge but when you add the fun element this helps to ensure that you’re wedding day is treated as a celebration and the taking of photographs is an enjoyable experience. We all know being a Wedding photographer is about taking great photos, but I believe a Wedding is full of lots and lots of special moments which shouldn't be missed so knowing when these special moments are about to happen is very important, you know what I mean those moments that mean everything and last forever. We also believe that we give what most people want the informal, traditional, fun and quirky photographs. We also create new photographs by combining several photos together which gives you something different from the norm. My History (Why should you choose me?) I developed my skills in photography at Swansea College receiving a higher diploma in professional photography. I also started my craft using film cameras and a darkroom before the introduction of the digital camera. I bought my first digital camera in 2002 and used it alongside my trusty film cameras to see how it would perform. At the time there were still many customers not excepting digital photography as a professional choice for their wedding. It wasn’t until the development of more sophisticated digital cameras I took the plunge head first into the digital world. For me the expertise and the secret skills of photography started disappearing and we were now entering into a world of if it looks okay on the screen on the back of the camera it is good enough. Using the right equipment and the correct settings that fit the environment I'm working in is much more important. Don’t get me wrong I do love this new digital age as it now means I can use my imagination more effectively and experiment without adding extra costs.
Although digital cameras use the same settings as film cameras with digital come’s a new learning curve in the form of digital software. So after many years of using Adobe Photoshop the industry standard for photography I now have an associate qualification in this software. I’m a great believer that you and I should get the best out of every image I take. Even if you don’t choose us for your special day please make sure that your Wedding Photography is in safe hands because as you will see after all the planning the actual day goes so quickly and you will miss much of it and all you’re left with is someone that holds your memories in their hands that should last you a lifetime.
